I'm a sailor.
I got a pair of Sperry’s. They’re sort of the greatest thing ever. Along with being ridiculously comfortable, I get to pretend I’m a classy sailor when I wear them. So in conclusion, they were worth that crazy price tag.

I'm sort of a huge mess...
I am, I really am. Most of the time I just haven’t the slightest clue of what’s going on in my head, and especially right now. That was sort of vague and weird. It’s okay, that gets the point across, right?

Ashes Ashes →
So I’ve been trying to post “Ashes Ashes,” by the ray talented NSLC Music Production class, but the file is too big for tumblr :( My current solution is posting this link where you (you lucky readers, you!) can download it! This song is fantastic- I’ve been listening to it on repeat, and you should too!

Not just a summer camp, I guess.
I feel naked without my NSLC lanyard. I feel lost without my trusty schedule. And oh my god, where am I going to eat, if not TDR? Basically, the thought of leaving AU, and leaving all my new friends and NSLC is killing me. NSLC was actually truly life changing- I remember, before going, my friend Erika told me how great it was, and how it changed her life. I didn’t believe her- I doubted...

Sports talk. →
So, as I’ve mentioned before, I’m at NSLC Journalism and Mass Comm, taking a Broadcast Journalism course. First things first- lets talk about how amazing my broadcast course is. My professor is Marcus Rosenbaum, who worked at NPR for around 30 years, and has some great stories- but I’ll talk more about the class and its projects later. What this post is really about is NPR. Our...

I'm a little lost.
I’ll be perfectly honest: I have no idea what I’m doing. Let me expand upon that thought- right now, I am at NSLC (National Student Leadership Conference) on Journalism and Mass Communications, at American University, in D.C. (i.e. DREAM SCHOOL). So basically, at every lecture we’ve attended, we’ve been told: “get a Twitter” or “start a blog!” And...
